New Release

I mentioned in a previous post that I was considering moving away from Sci-Fi romance. Amazon recategorized Abducted, something I had no control over, which drastically affected my visibility and sales. While sales are not the be-all-end-all for me, I’d be lying if I said they didn’t matter. It was difficult to continue writing the type of romance I enjoy after that happened.

I had Cosmic Liaison already written, and then the pandemic effectively killed my ability to write. Thankfully, it has returned, and I was able to finish edits and now publish. I am so excited about this book. I’m a fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and I’ve been disappointed in how dark so much of Sci-Fi television is nowadays. Cosmic Liaison is my answer to that.

Obviously, it’s not Star Trek, but I hope it has that same sort of positive vibe. So here you have it, Cosmic Liaison the first in The Valiant series.

Genesis is more than a little paranoid. When the aliens show up on Earth’s doorstep, she’s positive there’s more going on than meets the eye. Estranged from her family of doomsday preppers, she wants to finally put to work all the knowledge they forced upon her. Applying for a job with the Alien Diplomatic Corps was a long shot, but she was chosen out of millions. Shocker of shockers, she quickly finds out that she was right. The aliens did want something from them, but it was nothing she could have ever imagined, not in her wildest dreams.

Raised by a loving Maree family on the planet of Eorus, Juini is married to the man of his dreams, and his personal life couldn’t be better. His work life, however, is another story. Stuck in a career that he doesn’t like, with no hope of ever doing anything else, his new promotion was supposed to change all of that. Except, of course, it doesn’t, and that’s just the beginning of his problems.

Working together is not something that comes naturally for either of them, and it’s going to be a long journey through space before that changes.
